More than one million new Yellow Pages phonebooks are being delivered here in Las Vegas. So what do you do with your old one? Students and teachers at Helen J. Yellow Pages to Buy Super Pages for $2.55 Billion

Yellow Pages Group http://www.ypg.com agreed to buy Advertising Directory Solutions Holdings Inc. (ADS) publisher of SuperPages, from Bain Capital http://www.baincapital.com for $2.55 billion.

ADS is the utility telephone directory publisher in Alberta and British Columbia for TELUS Corp.

Yellow Pages Group, the utility directory publisher in Ontario, Quebec, and the Atlantic Provinces, will now have a total of 337 directories and a circulation of about 28 million copies.

"Yellow Pages Group And Google Canada Form Strategic Agreement In Canada"

this alliance, the Yellow Pages Group (YPG) will provide its 2.4 million Canadian business listings to the Google Local Canada's local search service http://local.google.ca , as well as www.google.ca . The visibility of advertisers on YPG's own Internet Sites www.YellowPages.ca and www.PagesJaunes.ca in French will receive greater exposure as a result. In July 2004 Google Canada received more than 12.3 million unique visitors while YPG's network of Web sites (YellowPages.ca, Canada411.ca, CanadaTollFree.ca, the CanadaPlus.ca network) received another 3.8 unique visitors. Combined they reach over 72% of all Canadian Internet users.
